Peter Romanois a Syrian-American Actor, Director, and Teaching-Artist. He is a graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts and Columbia University’s Graduate Acting Program.
Some career highlights: Antigone in the World directed by Tony award winner Gregory Mosher, Off-Broadway: Fucking A (Signature Theatre), Pericles (Target Margin Theatre), Othello and A Midsummer Night's Dream (CSC) Regional: Terror (Miami New Drama, US Premiere), Yasmina's Necklace (Premiere Stages). Film/TV: "New Amsterdam" (NBC) “The Blacklist” (NBC) “The Week Of” with Adam Sandler (Netflix).
He has directed productions of Antigone and The Caucasian Chalk Circle that toured Miami-Dade high schools and community spaces, reaching thousands of students. Peter is the creator of the web series “The New Neighborhood" and a founding member of the Apocalyptic Artists Ensemble, a company committed to bringing theatre education into New York City schools. He is currently on faculty at Marymount Manhattan College as an Assistant Professor of Theatre Arts.
